Melanie is originally from London and enjoyed baking from an early age. Throughout her career in sales, cooking and entertaining have always been her preferred pastime, as well as taking evening classes to become a demi-chef and hosting countless parties with friends and family.
Mum of 3 children and wife to Jonathan, this Antwerp family is still very British at heart. Christmas is the highlight of the year, starting with extending the dining table and making it look pretty, then the children’s presents in the morning and putting the turkey in the oven for a big family gathering and always ending somewhere the next morning as friends drop in all evening to raise a glass and celebrate together.

Located in the south of Antwerp, near Hof van Leysen, Food & Fizz are close to the centre of Antwerp in a residential area.
A cream tea is a form of afternoon tea light meal, consisting of tea taken with a combination of scones, clotted cream and jam. Traditionally a speciality of Devon and Cornwall, cream teas are offered for sale in tea rooms in those two counties, as well as in other parts of England and elsewhere in the Commonwealth.
